In recent years, Image processing has become one of the key tools leveraged for medical advancement, because It provides for a thorough examination of interior anatomy while being non-invasive. 3D models of the anatomies of interest can be constructed and researched in order to enhance patient treatment results, develop better medical equipment and medication delivery systems, and arrive at more accurate diagnoses. Today, we will be looking at the project, that will use MRI can film of a brain tumor patient, to detect the tumor on the brain using MATLAB graphical user interface.
What brain Tumor
A brain tumor is an abnormal mass of tissue in which cells grow and replicate uncontrollably, seemingly unfettered by normal cell regulatory processes. The extraction and analysis of brain tumors are difficult jobs in medical image processing due to the complexity of the brain image
In medical image processing, segmentation is extremely significant. As a result, MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) has emerged as a valuable medical diagnostic tool for brain and other medical images.
Symptoms of a Brain Tumor
Headaches.
Seizures (fits)
Persistently feeling sick (nausea), being sick (vomiting) and drowsiness.
Mental or behavioral changes, such as memory problems or changes in personality.
Progressive weakness or paralysis on one side of the body.
